It's spring, and normally the real estate market would be blossoming with sellers and buyers, but this spring, our nation is facing a pandemic crisis. The real estate industry is not immune to the impact of COVID-19. Like all businesses, Realtors are navigating this critical time as best we can. We are working hard (from home) to pivot our regular routines and protocols to accommodate everyone's safety.

During this time of uncertainty, one thing I know for certain is that there are still people who will need to sell or buy a home even in today's climate. If you have a need to sell or buy a home, I want to remind you that there are still real advantages for both sellers and buyers. Interest rates are still excellent for buyers while the low housing inventory benefits sellers. If you have a real estate need, we can navigate it together.

More importantly, during extraordinary times like these, I take time to be thankful. I'm thankful for the unwavering support of the Berkshire Hathaway Team, my partners, my clients, my friends, my family and my God.

I am also reminded of the awesome community that we live in. Our local organizations and businesses are the fabric of our community and they need us now, more than ever. As we settle into this new normal, if you are able, please seek the things that you can do to remain engaged with our community while keeping your own social distance:

• Contact your favorite non-profit and ask how you can help.
• Buy groceries for your elderly neighbor.
• Connect virtually with your church community.
• Shop local businesses online or purchase a gift card.
• Order delivery from your local restaurant.
• Give blood.

And above all, stay safe, be thankful, be strong in faith, love your neighbor as yourself and be kind as we all work through this challenging time together.
