As the eldest child and executor of my mother's estate, I handled the sale of her home, a place filled with 50 years of family memories. Living out of state, the prospect of managing the sale from afar was challenging.

I needed to familiarize myself with local Realtors to help me sell the home. Thankfully, I discovered a message left by my mother. One day, while cleaning out a desk drawer at my mother's house, I found a Lancaster Newspaper clipping - the article was from the Real Estate section. For me, November has traditionally been a time to pause and reflect more deeply on God's goodness to me. I can certainly relate to Philippians 4:11-13. Over the years, l've learned how to live with very little, and I've learned how to live when I have plenty - God is always good.

My wife and I have known Mark for several years. We previously lived in the same neighborhood in the Conestoga Valley area. A few years ago, my friend was looking to work with a calm and easy-going Realtor, and I knew Mark would be a good match. After my father passed away l needed to work through the process of selling his home, which was also my childhood home. I did not have any experience buying or selling a home, and I would be handling this process from out of state. It was imperative to select a Realtor who was experienced and could guide me through the process, as well as be available to help me logistically manage the sale from out of state.
