What are the Benefits of a Pre-Listing Property Inspection?

We encourage all of our seller clients to complete a Pre-Listing Property Inspection. Moving the inspection to the beginning of the real estate sales cycle leads to a wealth of benefits for both the seller and the buyer.

 

 

No Surprises

By completing a Pre-Listing Property Inspection, we are able to identify any property condition issues up front.  If there are repair issues/recommendations, the Inspection gives the seller the opportunity to address them before the property goes on the market.  For the buyer, knowing that the property has already been inspected by a Licensed Home Inspector provides an added layer of confidence in both the property and the seller, while saving time and money.

 

Accurate Pricing

It's much easier to predict the sales price when our sellers have a Pre-Listing Property Inspection done.  If an inspection is done, and the necessary repairs are made before listing the property, the home basically is given a clean bill of health.  This helps me, as a Realtor, negotiate a stronger price and terms for the seller, while providing the buyer with the comfort that they're buying a home free of unexpected home repairs.

 

Saves Time

Buyers and Sellers have fewer issues to negotiate, which often leads to a smooth, stress-free transaction for all.

 

A Pre-Listing Property Inspection is a key component to our 5-Star Program.
